Activities for babies, children, and young adults. Dynamic story times, hands-on arts and crafts for all ages, and programs to maintain reading skills and enrichment. Clifford’s Doghouse educational play area with puzzles, 
manipulatives, and a train table available for exploration and play.

Collection of audio books, CD’s, read-alongs, and magazines, along with current and classic print titles for all reading levels, as well as four AWE Early Literacy Station computers. Also puppets, story kits, big
 books, and picture book extension materials available by special
 arrangement for educational use.

Special events for children throughout the year, such as author visits and entertainers,and our summer reading program offers a gamut of daily activities.

LHU students, home school students, pre-school teachers, daycare providers, educators and parents are encouraged make use of our abundant resources.

A patron recently recommended a great website for educational gamesand information. Check out www.homeworkspot.com.  It’s great!

Another great resource available through the Ross Library website is Tumblebooks, e-books for children. There are picture books and informational books for a wide range of ages. It’s a great way to squeeze in a few more stories for your child while you cook dinner! No password is needed.
