Activities for children include lively year-round storytimes from birth to age 7. Visitors should look at the calendar for special events held at the Library in Lock Haven.
Ross Library has a collection of children’s audiobooks and family DVD movies; fiction and non-fiction books and favorite current magazines like Sports Illustrated for Kids and more.
The Library has educational children’s computers full of reading, math, science, etc. activities for youth ages 1-12. Library Services and Technology Act grants have provided the Ross Library with games and STEM materials.
Renovo Area Public Library and Friendship Community Library each have a robust collection for children and young adults, and active youth programming. Senior Projects
Volunteers who would like to work directly with children at summer programs may fulfill all their hours before they even start their senior years. Other volunteers are also welcome. Contact the Children’s Library at (570) 748-3484 or ross19@rosslibrary.org.
