About

Activities for children include lively year-round story-times from birth to age 5. Visitors should look at the calendar for special events held at the main library in Lock Haven.

Ross Library has a collection of children’s audio books and music on CD and family DVD movies; fiction and non-fiction books and favorite current magazines like Sports Illustrated for Kids and more.

The Library has educational children’s computers full of reading, math, science, etc. activities for youth ages 1-12. LSTA grants have provided the Ross Library with games and STEM materials.

Special programming is offered for children through seasonal story hours for the young and summer learning programs in the summer.

Renovo Area Library and Friendship Community Library each have a robust collection for children and young adults, and active youth programming. For more information, contact Barb at Renovo at (570)-923-0390 or Courtney at Friendship at (570)-962-2048 for more information on programs, services, and events.
