Get creative this summer! Celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month by designing our new library card. Whether you’re an artist, designer, or just love the library, this is your chance to see your work in the hands of the community.
The top design submitted will be printed as the new official library card for the Clinton County Library system. Winners will be recognized at a special unveiling celebration And of course… major bragging rights.
Submission Period: May 25, 2026 (Memorial Day) – September 7, 2026 (Labor Day) (Submissions are open for the entire Summer Reading program!)
Community Voting: September 14, 2026 – September 28, 2026
Who Can Enter: Open to all patrons of the Clinton County Library System (all ages welcome).
Design Guidelines:

- Designs should reflect the libraries, spirit of reading, learning, and/or community.
- Must be original work. (no copyrighted, AI-generated, or content owned by others)
- Must be appropriate for all ages.
- Must use the Library-provided template.
- Both digital and hand-drawn designs are accepted.
Submission Rules:

- Anyone with a Clinton County Libraries Library Card can enter.
- One entry per person.
- All entries must be submitted by September 7 at 8 p.m. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Entries may be submitted in person at any of the 3 Clinton County Libraries.
- All entries must include the artist’s name, address, phone number, email address, and Library card number.

Judging and Winners:

- Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, visual impact, and adherence to the design guidelines.
- Library staff will select top designs for community voting.
- Winner will be announced September 30, 2026.
Additional Information:
By submitting a design, you grant the Library permission to use your artwork—and your image or likeness, if included in promotional photos—for promotional purposes. All decisions are final, and submitted designs will not be returned
