It might be cold outside but our library is warm. Once upon a time a patron donated a recipe box of clippings of many topics. I have turned to this box many times over the year as the youth service coordinator. With the future weather forecast looking bleak, I turned to the spring section of clippings. This clipping was from the Grange Magazine- no author listed.
The Arrival of Spring
A robin singing in the trees,
A golden daffodil,
The gentle murmur of the breeze,
The call of whip-poor-wills.
Spring bring new life to all the world,
New hope to all the land,
The world responds like magic,
To this touch from God’s own hand.
