If your child is in school you may have been introduced to this concept. Accelerated Reader (AR) is used to track students’ reading comprehension. I have had more and more parents, grandparents, guardians looking for a specific AR number for their child. This year I am providing monthly selection of books with their AR # attached to the book. Over the years I have seen many adults pull different books off our shelf and check the AR# from their phones. Many times those books are too low or too high. The Ross Library will make it easy for the children to browse by interest and have the AR# they need for school.
