Genealogy
The Ross Library genealogy collection seeks to provide users with vital materials for researching local genealogy questions.
Requests for genealogy or PA-Look-ups are taken at Ross and Renovo Library’s main circulation desk, by phone at Ross (570)-748-3321 or Renovo (570)-923-0390, or by e-mail at ross1@rosslibrary.org or renovo@rosslibrary.org. A researcher is available at Ross Library on Thursdays. There is a fee for information found and mailed. The form to submit can be viewed and downloaded here.
The collection includes books, primary source materials, and local genealogies. Materials focus on Clinton, Centre, Lycoming and Clearfield counties, but also include data related to outlying PA areas, at least one book from all 67 PA counties, as well as the US and abroad. The collection includes both print and digital media.

Heritage Quest
Clinton County residents must have a library card to access the Heritage Quest database. To obtain the password, please call the Ross Library (570)-748-3321 or Renovo Library (570)-923-0390.
Pennsylvania Room Index File
The index file includes over 190,000 cards pointing to marriages, obituaries, and landmark local events as they appear in microfilm copies of local newspapers, genealogies, and scrapbooks. Some photos have also been recorded, indexed, and filed.
