Your Donations Drive Our Story Forward!

Every Community Deserves Access to Books.

Imagine a child discovering their favorite book for the very first time. A senior checking out a large-print novel without having to travel miles. A family in a rural township attending a free storytime right in their own neighborhood.

That's the future we're working toward.

The Clinton County Libraries are raising funds for a new Mobile Library (Bookmobile) that will bring books, technology, literacy programs, and library services directly to communities throughout Clinton County.

Why We Need Your Help

Our current library van has faithfully served our community for years, transporting books between our library branches. Unfortunately, with more than 150,000 miles and increasing repair needs, it has reached the end of its useful life.

Rather than simply replacing the van, we're building something much bigger:

A Mobile Library that will:

Bring books to rural communities

Visit senior centers and assisted living facilities

Partner with schools and community organizations

Stop at parks, festivals, and neighborhood events

Offer free Wi-Fi and digital resources

Register new library cards and check out materials on-site

Provide storytimes, crafts, summer reading activities, and literacy programs

Our Goal

We're raising $40,000–$100,000 to purchase and outfit a Mobile Library.

Every gift—large or small—moves us closer to putting books on the road.
