Seed Starting weeks 3, 4, & 5

Time to start thinning the seedlings!

A piece of a slat from a venitian blind fits perfectly in the plant cell.

These Coleus seedlings will need to be thinned.

After thinning they don’t look to good.

After a week they’ll show their appreciation for the extra space.

Same with the snapdragons.

We started a salad bed in a cold frame.

Then decided to replace the rotten wooden beds with metal ones.

The new beds are bigger, but the supports cut through the middle of the bed, for the salad bed we had to replant the spinach.
